I’ve got some good news on this Lord’s Day!
Tomorrow morning the House Ways and Means Committee was scheduled to hold a hearing on H.F. 91, the abortion-after-birth bill.
Minnesota Right to Life was gearing up to fight this bill in Committee but it was just REMOVED from the agenda!!
This is good news as it gives us more time to put pressure on the legislature and tell them that Minnesotans do NOT want to pass abhorrent abortions-after-birth laws!
We don’t know yet why they pulled the bill from committee and we don’t see it having been rescheduled yet.
One thing I do know is THEY ARE FEELING THE PRESSURE from MNRTL members and we have to keep it up!
In case you haven’t heard, H.F.91/S.F.70 is a 31-page bill that goes through Minnesota code, line by line, and strips out any protections that currently exist.
One of the lines of code H.F.91 removes is the requirement for an abortionist to provide medical assistance to a baby who is BORN ALIVE during a botched abortion!
That means passage of this bill will literally legalize the killing of babies AFTER they’ve been born.
But as I just said, the bill has been REMOVED from the agenda for Monday morning and hasn’t been rescheduled!
Praise God.
I know today is Sunday and many of us are heading to church this morning, but I hope you can also put your faith into action and help us spread the truth to countless Minnesotans by helping us fund our program to inform PRO-LIFE voters!
Everything is on the line right now for the unborn. It’s our duty to God to fight for those who have no voice.
